Therapy and Shame

Don’t blame yourself for depression, anxiety or any mental illness.” Additionally, everyone at some point in their life encounters a stressful event or issue. Therapy provides a safe outlet to process and learn how to effectively cope with a specific issue/stressor.

Why I’m Not Ashamed To Say I Go To Therapy

I used to tell my friends I had a “dentist appointment”—now, I know I don’t have to lie.
